Our three core beliefs

We believe that great schools help students achieve transformational growth, inside and outside of the classroom. And while schools chiefly focus on students, they must also deeply care for the needs of the adults who make it all possible. Not just to build extraordinary learning conditions for students, but also to design extraordinary working conditions for adults. Not just to fight for healthy integration in every student, but also to fight for the growth and potential of every employee. This is why we aim to serve, both students and adults—to ensure flourishing for all.

2 | Trust at the center of everything

We believe that great school leaders yearn for transformational growth for their schools, and they often do the hard work of spearheading this change. But standing in that extended moment of change can be lonely, even for the most extraordinary leaders. It tests their skills at every level. To lead change, they will need to nurture deep trust among the many members of their community. We will play our part by delivering our services consistently and by helping you cultivate operational discipline.

CHRISTIAN TALBOT

CEO & President

Christian leads Evolution Lab projects that help school leaders to develop and implement strategies for transformation. He is the former President of Regis (NY) and Head of School at Malvern Prep (PA), and has been a consultant to many additional schools and board of trustees.

AMBER BERRY

Director of Strategic Initiatives

Amber leads Evolution Lab projects that help school leaders to develop and implement strategies for transformation and also help educators get the best out of themselves, their colleagues, and their students. She is the former Head of Middle School at St. Luke's School (CT).

HENRY MCCORKLE

Director of Global Membership

As Director of Global Membership with MSA Henry identifies and builds relationships with new potential member schools domestically and internationally, and manages communications with existing member schools. Henry not only spearheads MSA membership, but also plays an integral role in marketing and strategic project decision-making.

MEGHAN CURETON

Consultant

Meg leads Evolution Lab projects that help teachers get the best out of themselves, their colleagues, and their students. She is the former Head of Learning & Innovation at the Mount Vernon School (GA) and has been a consultant to many additional schools.

NICOLE GRIMES, PH.D.

Director of Marketing

Nicole leads Evolution Lab projects that help division heads and department chairs to get the best out of themselves and their colleagues. She is the former Principal of Dominican Academy (NY), professor of practice at CUNY, and current trustee of LaSalle Academy (NY).

The Evolution Lab is the innovation arm of the Middle States Association (MSA). MSA is a worldwide leader in accreditation and school improvement, working with over 3000 schools in 115 countries serving 2.2 million students.
