SEL becomes durable when it lives in daily practice, shows up in adult modeling, and is supported by systems that protect equity and measure growth. AI can help, not by replacing human connection, but by strengthening reflection, planning, and consistency.
This series supports educators in integrating a holistic SEL approach with AI as a thought partner, from classroom routines to schoolwide sustainability. Across three courses, participants move from building practical routines, to strengthening learner skill development, to designing systems that sustain SEL over time.

Course 1: Social Emotional Learning Routines with AI as a Support Partner
Course 2: Cultivating Learner SEL Skills with AI as Practice Partner
Course 3: Fostering SEL Through Empathy and Responsible Action with AI as a Design Partner
Who is the series for?
This series is designed for K-12 educators, instructional coaches, school leaders, and other education professionals who want to strengthen SEL practice in their classrooms and schools. Whether you are new to SEL or building on an existing foundation, this series meets you where you are and offers practical tools, reflective experiences, and AI-supported design work you can bring directly into your context.
What will you walk away with?
A set of SEL-aligned classroom routines ready for immediate use
A resilience toolkit co-designed with AI to support learner self-regulation and belonging
A comprehensive SEL system plan that integrates tiered supports, data-informed reflection, and family and community engagement
A growing AI literacy practice grounded in responsible use, critical thinking, and educator judgment
Participants who successfully complete the series earn a Human Centered SEL in the Age of AI certificate, awarded through a Public Demonstration of Learning.
The certificate recognizes demonstrated capability in:
Using AI tools for SEL-aligned reflection, planning, scenario practice, and instructional design
Applying responsible AI use practices, including guardrails, bias awareness, and data privacy
Adult SEL capacity, including emotional self-awareness, regulation, and modeling
Designing learning environments that center learner belonging and equitable SEL systems
