AI 201: Advanced Use Cases for AI

Course Description: 

This course is about using generative AI to think strategically.A teacher or administrator’s capacity to anticipate problems and to imagine alternative scenarios—whether with students, disgruntled parents, colleagues, or others—is vital. But with so many demands on our time, it can be hard to remember to slow down to think strategically. Using genAI as a co-intelligence offers a practical solution.

Who Should Take This Course: This course is perfect for educators who have already taken “AI 101” here on the Evolution Academy, or who believe they have a basic grasp of how to use generative AI. There are no prerequisites for this course.

What will you walk away with?
The asset you will build through this course is a personalized “Strategy Prompt Library,” which will include methods for:

  • Designing experiences (learning experiences for students, or employee experiences)

  • “Looking around corners” with your work (and perhaps personal life!)

  • Pressure testing ideas you would like to implement

The skills you will develop through this course include the ability to:

  • Articulate the essential characteristics of an advanced genAI prompt

  • Prompt genAI in more sophisticated ways

  • Anticipate problems and opportunities by pressure testing your plans

Participants will receive:

  • A template for building a personalized “Strategy Prompt Library.”

  • Access to all course materials.

  • Guidance from an expert facilitator.

  • Topic 1: Designing Powerful Learning Experiences

  • Topic 2: Designing Superior Employee Experiences

  • Topic 3: Anticipating Problems & Opportunities

  • Topic 4: Simulating Scenarios to Develop Wisdom

Time Commitment: Estimated time to completion is 90 minutes.
