“No Playbook. No Problem." How Microschool Founders Solve What Nobody Prepared Them For

Date: Thursday 30th April 2026

Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM (EST)
Format: Join Us Virtually

Nobody hands you a playbook when you start a microschool. You figure out parent onboarding on the fly. You build systems while running them. You make high-stakes decisions with a small team, a tight budget, and no room for error.

Three microschool founders have been exactly where you are, and they're ready to get real about how they solved it.

Join us for an unfiltered webinar + Q&A with Adam Nadeau (Flourish Schools), Jill Haskins (Kainos School), and Candice Hilton (Hilton Horizons Academy) moderated by Dr. Adam Lavalle of MSA.

No theory. No polished case studies. Just honest stories and lessons you can use.

What does it take for boards and school leaders
to truly align on change?

Strong schools are built on strong alignment between the head of school and the board. Join Christian Talbot, President & CEO of the Middle States Association (MSA) as ADVIS and MSA introduce a key tool from Governance Mastery: the Shared Point of View on Change. Learn how high functioning leadership teams clarify priorities, set the pace for change, and stay focused on what matters most.

Participants will engage in hands-on prototyping using AI supported prompts, gain practical strategies they can immediately apply, and explore how this work can strengthen board effectiveness and mission alignment.

This session also offers a preview of upcoming ADVIS and MSA governance programming, with opportunities to continue building your board’s capacity in the year ahead.
